September 17-23 has been declared Constitution Week in Hopkins County. Accepting the proclamation from Judge-Executive Donald Carroll is Candace Ashby of the Captain Stephen Ashby Chapter of the Kentucky Daughters of the American Revolution.

During the September 18, 2018 meeting, Hopkins County Fiscal Court announced the retirement of Public Works Director Jeff Browning and recognized him for more than three decades of service to the county. A proclamation was issued declaring the day Jeff Browning Day in Hopkins County.
